We host special family and community events throughout the school year. Parent involvement is important to us. Parents are always welcome to visit the classroom or volunteer time interacting with the children during these events. We also look for volunteers to accompany us on field trips or to participate in enrichment activities.

Ice-cream Social

I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice-cream! What sweeter way to kick off a new school year? Meet Presby staff and teachers for a cold treat, while mingling amongst new friends.

Halloween Parade

Join our little ghosts and goblins for spook-tacular fun. After watching the costume parade, families are treated to a haunting performance of scary songs. It’s a fab-boo-lous time!

Fall Festival

Break out your Halloween costumes and join us for trick-or-treating, games, light refreshments, photo-booth fun and more. In conjunction with First Presbyterian Church, the second annual Fall Festival is sure to be sweet fun.

Thanksgiving Feast

We’re stuffed! With the help of parent volunteers, the children enjoy their very own Thanksgiving feast.

Fa La La La La Flapjacks and a Flick

What better way to wrap up the year then by helping us spread holiday cheer?! Volunteer elves will assist with cooking and serving up a pancake breakfast. The kiddos will rock their festive PJs, enjoy a classic movie, and receive a special visit from Santa himself.

After Christmas Event

Yule have a tree-mendous time decorating a tree for our feathered friends. Bring the whole family and enjoy warm cocoa while listening to a story.

Love Luncheon

It may be cheesy, but you’ll LOVE your lasagna lunch, specially made by the kiddos themselves. Then, sit back and relax as you’re treated to a performance of adorable love songs!

Moving Up Ceremonies and Graduation

Way to grow! Whether moving up to a new class or heading to kindergarten, families are invited to Presby to celebrate their little ones and all they’ve accomplished throughout the year.

Birthdays

Celebrating birthdays at Presby is a piece of cake! Parents are invited to read to their child’s class and share a sweet treat.

Field Trips & Special Guests

From Silverman’s Farm to a visit from the Fairfield Fire Department, we’re always looking for new experiences that the children can enjoy! Help from the parents on these special days is encouraged.
