Experts in Early Childhood Education
The highly regarded Presbyterian Nursery School has been nurturing and educating preschool children for more than 50 years. Affectionately known as Presby Kids, the school provides a warm, stimulating environment where each child’s unique qualities are recognized and positive self-esteem and compassion are developed. Our principles are based on respect, honesty, trust and caring.
The teachers and play-based curriculum encourage the social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth of each child. Presby Kids maintains a strong relationship with the area public school systems in order to prepare children for a successful transition to kindergarten.
“Presby Kids has been nurturing young children for over 50 years through a play-based curriculum designed to encourage a love of learning. We offer innovative programming for 3’s, 4’s, and Pre-K children, including flexible extended hours for busy parents.”
Can’t give enough praise to the program and staff at First Presby Nursery School. My daughter enthusiastically attended for two years and was well-prepared for kindergarten. The special programming and attentive staff made it such a positive experience. Highly recommend! And, don’t miss their summer program! It’s like an over-the-top birthday party every day. So fun!
We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Presbyterian Nursery School. The staff is compassionate and accessible and the environment is warm and welcoming. The teachers have been very tuned in to our daughter’s emotional and intellectual development, encouraging play and curiosity while introducing the curriculum to prepare her well for kindergarten. We love our Presby family! It’s such a special place.
Our mission is to provide a nurturing, stimulating, and developmentally appropriate learning environment.
